Privacy policy
Effective October 13, 2026
This policy explains what information the Espero Insurance Blog ("Espero," "we") collects at esperoinsurance.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act.
What we collect
- Your email address, only if you sign up for the newsletter.
- Basic, anonymous usage data, such as which pages are viewed, collected through privacy-focused analytics that do not use cookies to track you across sites.
- We do not ask for or collect payment information, Social Security numbers, or insurance policy details on this site.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which articles are useful, so we can write more of them.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Mailchimp (Intuit) stores newsletter subscriber emails and sends the newsletter.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and provides basic, cookie-free traffic statistics.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site, which means your browser requests font files from Google.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any newsletter.
- To see, correct, or delete the email address we hold, email [email protected].
Do Not Track
We don't track visitors across other websites, so we treat all visitors the same whether or not their browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, mention it in the newsletter.
